Wow, it's been a long, long time since I last put an entry in here (September, actually), so it's probably about time I write one. So hi. I'm not dead. At least, I wasn't last time I checked.

I'm not sure why, but I had the urge about an hour ago to write a new blog. To put everything aside and start again. I stopped writing because I was becoming a bit of a bitch, and I didn't like it. It seemed to me as though I was just using the blog as a weapon against those whom I hated, which wasn't the reason why I started it in the first place. So, this entry is the beginning of a new blog. I'm not going for the dreaded Final Solution^tm, which by the way I still hate. This is just a line being drawn under the old, and ushering in the new.

In keeping with the "out with the old, in with the new" theme I seem to have going here, I guess I should also mention that I've decided to put Living Sedative and LStv to bed, which I doubt would come as much of a surprise to anybody. There hasn't been an LStv blog since June, and I haven't made any new music in over a year now. Don't get me wrong, I realised a long time ago that Living Sedative was just a hobby to me, but over the past year I got less and less interested in it, and now that I've got a new laptop that hasn't got FL Studio on, I've finally found a reason to just let go of it. The music I made will always be a good reminder of what my original plan was, but unfortunately that never got off the ground.

As for LStv, I'm sure I'll start video blogging again when I can find the time, but it will be under a different title and format. Gone are the "Seasons" and "Episodes". I'm sure that, if I do film one again, it'll just be dated. I did think of ditching the "LS" though and replacing it with a "G" because GTV has a ring to it. Still, just an idea at this point in time, nothing I'm committing to.

Me and Mena are today celebrating 3¹/₂ years together. It's been one hell of a journey, to be honest, and one that I'd quite happily travel all over again. I've stated time and time again in this blog how much I love her, and how special she is to me, so whilst I'd love to say all of that once more, I'm sure you'll forgive me just this once as I simply don't have the time to type it out. That, and I've got a bad neck which I want to nurse in bed. Anyway, this year's going to be a special year for us. This year is the year we've been talking about for..well..years. This year is the year I'm going to move out into my own place, with Mena following hot on my heels. Assuming I can find a mortgage, the credit crunch has provided an excellent opportunity to get into the market, and it's an opportunity I am most definately aiming to exploit, so I shall keep you posted on that. Assuming I blog regularly again, of course. No promises on that one.

I'm not normally one for New Year's Resolutions, and it's certainly far too late to make one now, but I have such a feeling that 2009 is going to be OUR year, that I feel tempted to make a Resolution nonetheless:

This year, we (Gavin and Rumena) are going to prove everybody except ourselves wrong. This year, we are going to fulfil our dreams. This year, we are going to eradicate a 150 mile distance barrier.

We are going to say Fuck You to parents who don't understand that we're happy together. We are going to say Fuck You to parents who would never accept our relationship. We are going to say Fuck You to all our doubters. Fuck. You. When you see us happy, I wonder if you'll sit and think that maybe you should've been supportive sooner. I hope so.

By the way, that isn't me being bitchy, that's just me being brutally honest. Too many people have written us off, and so it's time to prove them wrong.
