Three More Mena-Orientated Poems
This time, I did them off my own back
I must admit though, she did give me the inspiration to. We were talking about how fantastic the last three days have been (cos they have), I went onto one of her old blogs to read the poem she'd wrote about me last August, called I Like The Way. That in itself was enough to make me write a few more. Three, in fact, if you didn't read the blog title.
Anyways, they're on PostPoems (dur!), and are called the following:
1 - I Love the Following Things About You
2 - You're So Fucking Special
3 - Heroine
They're in the Mena folder (again, dur!), and brings my actual total amount of poems posted to 118! Yay for me.
Whilst talking about poems, I today managed to suss out a song structure for Summer Afternoons in Greenwich, a poem I wrote for Mena last week sometime. Basically, it'd go like this:
So,
Here we are,
Sat on our,
Favourite bench.
Cuddled together,
And watching,
Nothing in particular.
Maybe,
It's the dog,
He's found something in the lake.
Feels the need to jump in,
And find it.
Maybe,
It's the kids,
Playing in the playground.
Giving you the urge,
To go join them.
And so on. I'm not going to write the whole poem here as it would be as a song, but needless to say, it's an acoustic ballad which I will be looking at recording.
And finally - LStv. I was meant to be doing Episode VII today, but I didn't. It'll get done Sunday/Monday.
Till next time.
