Blog title is assuming that I don't blog again before Midnight, of course. I doubt I will, but yeah.

In some ways, I'm glad that 2005 has gone, and that 2006 will be bringing 12 fresh months with it. There's been times where I've felt like shite this year, and whilst I'm not saying that 2006 won't have its shitty moments, there's no doubts that it's gonna be better than this year.

I won't be making any New Years Resolutions though. I remember saying in my "Last of 2004" blog that I wanted to be a happier person this year, and ended up breaking that one after about 3 days. OK, so I was happier this year when compared to 2004, but still, I wanted to be a happier person from the offset and wasn't. Can't have everything though

It did have it's pluses though. England won the Ashes, Andy Murray (sp?) actually made British tennis exciting again (to be honest, Tim Henmen and Greg Rudeski are getting rather boring to watch now), I met the most amazing girl in my whole life, and we're still together 5 months later ^_^ Long may it continue!

Way back in January, I agreed to go see Green Day, just for a weekend away from home, and it ended up being the best damn gig I've ever been to. I also saw InMe, Fozzy, Panic Cell, KUBB, Starsailor, Taking Back Sunday, and Jimmy Eat World.

So then peeps, what does 2006 bring? Well, on the gig front I'm definately going to see Fozzy (again ), Feeder, and The Darkness, and might be going to see Staind. I'll definately go see Muse when they announce tour dates, as well.

January brings the 6 month anniversary since Mena agreed to be my girlfriend, and we're planning on spending the day together and celebrate by...watching films ^_^
